Nalumar Consulting has been in business for over 6 years and is owned and ran by Heather and Chris Walker. We decided to open Nalumar Consulting to compete with other companies offering Web Hosting, Web Pages and other computer related services who were charging what we felt to astronomical fees and taking advantage of people who are not as computer savvy. Since we started Nalumar Consulting we have continued to maintain competitive prices that are usually below anyone else. Over the years we have decided to narrow the services we offer to Web, Email and Web Hosting services including costume and template website designs.
Heather Walker, who has been a web developer for over 6 years now, started programming at the age of 12 on a Commodore 64 and in basic language. She has since programmed in languages ranging from machine code of Fortran to the ever famous Cobol to many database languages and mastering the most common languages used in web pages such as PHP, HTML, SHTML, Perl and the list goes on. Heather has worked with individuals, small businesses and large business developing web pages for artists, personal trainers, Realtors and many more not to mention her all inclusive wedding planning website which you can find on our portfolio page as well.
Chris Walker is currently a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty in North County. He has been around Real Estate his whole life as his mom has been a Realtor for over 30 years. Chris started in computers in 1995 and worked full time in the computer industry from 1998 on. During the inception of Nalumar Consulting he was in charge of building computers, designing networks and setting them up along with trouble shooting troubled computers we were called about. Since June of 2004 when he turned towards a career in Real Estate he has continued to do computer trouble shooting and over the last 6 months began basic web programming to assist Heather with the Web Pages and put his knowledge of Real Estate to use helping Heather with Real Estate and business related web pages.
